Let's see -- no food photos today because I ate exactly the same things as yesterday. But to recap for you:
Breakfast: Sweet Potato Hash, coffee with coconut milk
Lunch: Tuna Salad on spinach, carrots, tomato
Dinner: Crockpot chicken with coleslaw and Sunshine Sauce.
It's almost hard to blog about food now because I seriously think about it SO LITTLE. I feel like this is how NORMAL people must feel about food. Like, it's just another part of the day, not this epic battle. I 100% attribute this to cutting out sugar and maybe grains. It feels downright miraculous.
When I got home from work, I decided it was high time to start another little challenge I've been thinking of. Here's a couple hints:
Yes, I am redoing the Couch To 5k!! I've been thinking about it for awhile, and a few weeks ago, I convinced a couple of friends to sign up for the Toronto Zoo Run with me. I'm super stoked about this -- I just sort of figure that even if I still suck at running by September, it's at least a free stroll through the zoo. :)
I'm not going to lie -- I found tonight's run REALLY hard. My legs were like LEAD the entire time. I could barely lift them. It's either:
a) I'm more out of shape than I realized.
b) this Whole30 plan is not giving me enough carbs to run right now
c) my legs were just too tired from biking home (I left about 20 minutes after I got home)
I'm actually leaning towards C, just because I felt like I recovered REALLY fast after each interval, so I don't think my heart / lungs / the rest of my body were taking it too badly. It seemed to just be my legs that weren't cooperating.
I'll probably end up going again after work on Friday, which will be the same situation, but I'll do my third run sometime this weekend and see if that one goes any better.
